Maine artist Philip Barter has sold his paintings and sculpture to collectors around the world. The home gallery itself has been described as a house that elves built, for its imaginative array of rooms and spaces.You could say the Barter Gallery is a family affair, because many of Phil and Priscilla's seven kids have an artistic flair and contribute in some way to what the gallery offers.
